Lindsey Yankey
Lindsey Yankey is a children’s book illustrator and author. Lindsey’s illustrations have been exhibited at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, featured in American Illustration, and awarded Gold in 3×3 Magazine‘s International Picture Book Show. Her book My Grandma and Me, written by Mina Javaherbin, was nominated for the 2020 Kate Greenaway Medal and received four starred reviews, and her two author-illustrated titles both won the Kansas Notable Book award. Lindsey enjoys using traditional media including watercolor, oil paint, cut paper, pencil, and linoleum cut. She teaches at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, where she lives with her family.
