Ellen Crenshaw
Ellen T. Crenshaw is a cartoonist and illustrator living on Massachusetts' North Shore. She has been long-listed for a National Book Award, nominated for an Eisner Award, and is a New York Times bestselling adapter, cartoonist, and bookmaker. When she's not making comics, or talking to kids about making comics, she loves playing video games, hiking with her dog, and analyzing movies with her husband.
Loves to draw: Rich emotional scenes, historical nonfiction, and slice-of-life stories. She’s known for her animated depictions of hands and body language, as well as evocative and nuanced facial expressions. She enjoys drawing animals and loves projects that give her the opportunity to learn new things. She’s interested in exploring areas of fantastical realism, including adventure and horror.
