Clar Angkasa
Clar Angkasa is an author, illustrator, animator, and comic artist with a passion for narrative art. She was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration, and is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. When she's not creating art, Clar can be found obsessing over her 20+ houseplants, daydreaming about food, or catching up on her never-ending list of things to read/watch/listen to.
Loves to draw: Myths/folklore/fairy tales, stories with limited color palettes, nature, food, ghosts, and anything related to Indonesian culture, female empowerment, mental health and interesting family dynamics.
